The Chanhassen Dinner Theater is well-known for its great food and better entertainment. It’s only fitting the venue provide customers with a play that fits the season. Up on the docket this holiday season is a play called Our Hometown Christmas Pageant, now running through December 30th. This play is written by Michelle Barber and Andrew Cooke, and is also directed by Michelle Barber as well. This is the first time this play has run at Chanhassen, so this plays as a unique holiday entertainment experience (say that five times fast).
The story centers around five townspeople who have written the annual Christmas pageant, but lose their usual venue at the local church. Thankfully, the big dinner theater in town decides to host the pageant, a big step up from the smaller church venue. Our Hometown Christmas Pageant is complete with laughs, drama, as well as plenty of Christmas classics like “Deck the Halls” and “Up on a Housetop.”
The show is available at group rates, so you and your friends or family can sit together, and is also available at dinner/show rates as well as show only rates. For more information regarding the show, visit the Chanhassen Dinner Theater website.
